Volunteers are a big part of our story. The Scottish Pantry Network and our PrepMate programme rely on their time, care and enthusiasm to keep us going and support families and individuals across Glasgow and the surrounding areas.

If you’d like to make a difference in your community, build your skills and meet new people, we’d love to hear from you. PrepMate volunteering opportunities

PrepMate helps households enjoy easy-to-prepare meals through our meal kits, supplied to pantries across our network, local community partners and customers ordering online.

PrepMate Assistance

Join our small but mighty PrepMate team and help get meal kits ready for delivery. You’ll support with measuring and packing ingredients, assembling boxes and organising stock. It’s a hands-on way to help more households access affordable, home-cooked meals.

Delivery Driving

Help bring PrepMate meal kits to pantries and community partners as a volunteer delivery driver. Working alongside a Driver’s Assistant, you’ll deliver and unload meal kits and liaise with the people receiving them. A valid driving licence and a clean driving record are required.

Driver’s Assistant

Support our delivery drivers as they bring meal kits to pantries and community partners. You’ll accompany the driver on their route, help unload meal kits and liaise with the people receiving each delivery. You don’t need to drive to make a difference in this role.
